How Should I.... Video this event? Peter will explain to us what to consider when videoing a Party/Craft fair etc.

Bring along anything that you have filmed, - edited or not - watch it on the big screen and we will suggest how you can edit it.

Back to Basics Revisiting Sound A follow on to the presentation previously given by Richard & Peter.

Open Discussion: Discussing the films entered into the "3 Minute Max" & the "Natural World" competitions.

Challenge Part 1: Four teams will be drawn at random, each will decide on a subject and make preparations to make a short film later in the year. All filming to be done inside the building.


November 1st 2019
Competition1 :
1 min. max. Including titles and credits - any subject.
Competition 2: Set to Music (using one piece of music only) 10 min max. (but can be less).


November 8th 2019
President's Night
A tribute to our late President, Les Hickman. We shall be watching some of the films that he made over the years.

Skittles Night
Social evening and a raffle. At the club.

Challenge Night (part 2):

Tonight we put into practice the plans we made on October 25th and shoot our short film. All editing will be done at home and the results will be shown on March 6th.

Summer months of 2020...
The club continues to meet on an very informal basis throughout the summer months - each Friday at 7.30pm. Experienced members will help you with any video or editing problems that you may have. Drop in if you fancy! You will be made very welcome. All we ask is £2.50 towards the room hire and the biscuits!

Competition entries
Unless otherwise stated maximum duration is 10 minutes. All entries must be registered with the competition host. No further entries accepted after the “running order” draw commences.
