Wolverhampton Film Makers - learn more about film making and video editing - click on a video

One of the aims of Wolverhampton Film Makers is to help all those who wish to improve their skills in all aspects of video making. The videos above, courtesy of Vimeo.com explain the basics. We all help each other and would love to welcome you at one of our meetings.

We meet all the year round
Meetings commence at 7.30 p.m. at:

Fallings Park Community Centre,
Wimborne Road,
Wolverhampton
WV10 0NS See map

Winter meetings consist of film shows, competitions and practical evenings. The summer meetings are very relaxed, friendly and informal gatherings. If you have any problems with a piece of video kit, or you would like to get to know more about editing, then please feel free to drop in. You will be very welcome. The only thing we ask is a £2.50 contribution towards refreshments and hire of the room. What a bargain!

Learning and guidance evenings
Summer learning and video guidance evenings start at the end of April and continue through the summer until the start of our winter season in September of each year. You are very welcome to visit us on any other Friday evening at one of our club meetings where you will be made very welcome. We were all beginners once and you will receive a sympathetic ear to any photographic, computer or video problems that you may be having. If nothing else, you can have a cup of tea or coffee, a biscuit or two and some good company.

We have members who use various different types of video editing software and most of them also make films to enter in our competitions or for their own enjoyment. Our members are friendly and helpful and will give a sympathetic ear to any problems or difficulties that you may have experienced while making your movies.

We all started as beginners and have lots of fun helping each other and overcoming problems.

We meet all the year round at 7.30pm. If you pop in for a chat, you will be made very welcome.
